We here at MrJoy are proud to announce the release of When Orcs Attack version 1.0.5, which adds a little eye candy, improves usability, makes the game easier for beginners and more challenging for veterans and introduces a web based version you can play online! If you haven't tried it yet, now is the time to give it a spin!



If you HAVE played it, we think you'll find the updates quite enjoyable! The first few waves are a bit easier to deal with, the low-level arrow towers are a bit stronger, the fire/ice towers are cheaper and more useful, and the UI is easier to understand and less obtrusive. All of this contributes to a much smoother game experience. And for the veterans who have already fought many battles against the Orc Nation, you'll enjoy the intermediate boss rounds (every 10th round), the harder Impossible skill, and the fact that bosses can't be teleported anymore (the Orcs have begun treating their Grattantrons with a special substance that makes them immune to translocation magic!).



Sadly though, with so much good news the universe requires that we balance it out with some bad news: This marks the end of the early-adopter discount. The downloadable version is now $24.95 -- still a bargain for a game of this caliber, and worth every penny! So play it now, then download it and enjoy it full-screen!
